🕊️ The assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk in Utah has drawn reactions from northeast Indiana leaders, who condemned the violence and urged a return to respectful debate. Authorities released photos of a person of interest, recovered a rifle believed to be used, and are offering a $100,000 reward. Purdue Fort Wayne emphasized safety and dialogue as it prepares to host Karl Rove, while both Allen County Democratic and Republican leaders called the attack a tragic blow to democracy. 🏗️ Allen County leaders shared plans for the new jail under construction at 2911 Meyer Road, designed for efficiency and future growth. The 400,000 sq. ft. facility will expand capacity from 731 to 1,300 beds, with potential for 3,000, and use a one-level pod system to reduce staffing needs. It will feature specialized housing, rehab programming, and updated technology. Construction is on schedule for completion in December 2027 with a transition period planned. 📜 Fort Wayne has updated its Access to Public Records Act process to reduce large commercial requests that strain city resources, such as demands for years of purchasing records or crash reports. The new rule allows the city to deny requests deemed for profit rather than transparency, while an amendment ensures news media, nonprofits, and academic research are excluded from the “commercial” definition. 🛍️ Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division is seeking resident feedback through online surveys about future businesses along South Calhoun Street, East State Boulevard, and Waynedale. The surveys, open until Oct. 2 on the Engage Fort Wayne website, ask about preferred businesses, parking needs, and current recommendations. Results will guide a retail opportunity study, with final recommendations set for release by year’s end and implementation beginning in 2026. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🔥 Multiple fire departments responded to a pole barn fire on the 3800 block of Bostick Road near US 27 and I-469 in southern Fort Wayne. How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential

Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.

Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.

Founded by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech reshapes the $1.3T vacation home market. They’ve earned $110M+ in gross profit to date, including 41% YoY growth in 2024 alone. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.

Paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.
