ALDI’s fifth Fort Wayne store just opened on Dupont Oaks Blvd, offering affordable groceries and a smart shopping experience. 🚙New way to pay to park in downtown Fort Wayne
Fort Wayne’s downtown parking meters now support smartphone payments via the Park Mobile app, adding convenience for visitors. An Indianapolis developer proposes a 426-unit, 3-story apartment complex on 37 acres at Flutter and St. Joe Roads in Allen County. 🏠Fort Wayne housing development aims to support chronically homeless
Fort Wayne Housing Authority broke ground on Hillcrest Commons, a supportive housing project offering 24 one-bedroom units for at-risk adults and those facing chronic homelessness. Alongside housing, residents will benefit from onsite services provided by Parkview Behavioral Health Institute. Located at 711 E. Tillman Road, Hillcrest Commons fills a critical need. 🍂Leaf collection to begin October 28
Fort Wayne’s leaf collection kicks off October 28 in over 400 neighborhoods, with scheduled pickups through December 13. Daily updates and a collection map are available at cityoffortwayne.org/leaves. Join the annual Howl-O-Walkoween on October 19 at Promenade Park! Enjoy a pet costume contest, parade, vendors, and food trucks, all supporting Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control’s youth programs. This year’s Dog of Honor is Jack, a courageous survivor.
All You Can Eat Fish Fry and Pork Tenderloin
Join the Ft Wayne Maennerchor/Damenchor for an all-you-can-eat fish fry and pork tenderloin on October 11 at Park Edelweiss. Enjoy scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, dessert, and German music, with a full-service bar available. Tickets are $15 for adults, $6 for children.
