A brisk and gray day ahead with overcast skies and a few light showers mainly north of Fort Wayne. Temperatures top out near 51°F, and a steady west wind of 15–25 mph keeps it feeling cool. By nightfall, clouds begin to break apart, leading to partly clear skies and a chilly low near 38°F.

🎃 With Halloween nearing, Stoner’s Funstore in downtown Fort Wayne is stocked with everything from Frankenstein masks and fake blood to wigs and prank items. Offering around 30,000 costume options for sale or rent, shoppers are urged to plan early. Read more from WANE 15 here.
👻 The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory will host its annual Garden Trick-or-Treat on Saturday from 12–3 p.m. at 1100 S. Calhoun St. Families can enjoy costumes, candy stations, and photo ops along the Pumpkin Path Display. Admission is $7 adults, $5 kids, ages 2 and under free. Read more from WFFT here.
🚴 The City of Fort Wayne says the “Golden Spike” section of the Pufferbelly Trail between Washington Center Rd. and Coliseum Blvd. is 90% complete. Work continues with striping, signage, and grading before a mid-December deadline. Once finished, it will connect 130 miles of trails citywide. Read more from WANE 15 here.
🎭 Comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld will perform at Fort Wayne’s Embassy Theatre on February 12, 2026, at 7 p.m. Member ticket sales begin October 22, with public sales opening October 24. 💊 A month-long Fort Wayne Police investigation led to the arrest of Alexis Springer, who allegedly sold 10 grams of fentanyl to an undercover officer. Springer, enrolled in Allen County Drug Court, faces multiple felony charges after police recovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine. Read more from WANE 15 here.
🚔 Fort Wayne police arrested 17-year-old Maung Soe Noe following a Saturday shooting that left one man with multiple gunshot wounds. He faces charges including attempted murder and aggravated battery. Police recovered a 9mm pistol tied to the scene after locating Noe later that night. Read more from WANE 15 here.
