🚧 Creighton Avenue will close Tuesday between Lafayette and South Clinton streets for construction, with work finishing the same day. On Wednesday, INDOT will pave Lafayette Street, causing lane restrictions from Creighton to Dalman Avenue. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🛣️ Adams Center Road will close October 20–27 between Paulding and Seiler roads for drainage installation tied to the Google Data Center project, “Project Zodiac.” A detour will be posted to guide drivers around the area. Read more from WFFT here.

🚧 The Bluffton Road Bridge will close October 22–23 between Broadway and Vesey avenues for new concrete deck work. Drivers will be detoured via Brooklyn Avenue, Taylor Street, and Broadway Avenue. Read more from WFFT here.

🏥 A new Alliance Health Centers clinic opened Monday at Charis House on Decatur Road, offering therapy and psychiatry for homeless women and children. The facility, serving about 500 patients yearly, expands access to compassionate mental health care through a partnership with The Rescue Mission. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🐴 After founder Allison Wheaton’s passing in 2023, Summit Equestrian Center continues her mission of healing veterans through horses. The nonprofit celebrates 15 years with a fundraiser, “Stock the Barn: Riding Forward in Allison’s Memory,” on November 7. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🎄 The Christmas in Arlington Craft Show happens October 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4630 W Arlington Park Blvd. The event features handmade gifts, décor, and self-care items, with proceeds supporting Miss Fort Wayne and Miss Northeast scholarship competitions. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🐾Christopher Collins was sentenced to six years in prison, with two suspended, for burglarizing a New Haven home and stealing a $1,000 husky. The incident left the homeowner injured, and a second suspect, James Steele, faces trial in January. Read more from WANE 15 here.
