🚨Another closure at Electric Works; Charlie Horse shuts down
Electric Works’ Union Street Market faces another closure as Charlie Horse announces its departure, marking the fourth vendor exit since August. The bar expressed gratitude to loyal customers and plans to keep catering at Electric Works events, despite closing its location. Read More Here

⚽Soccer stadium coming to Allen County in 2026
Fort Wayne FC is building a 7,500-seat stadium, set to open in 2026, making it northeast Indiana’s largest outdoor venue. With a fan-focused design and capacity up to 10,000 for concerts, the stadium will feature field-level suites, a beer garden, fan zones, and year-round amenities. Full Story
🎲🎲Full House Resorts hosting vendor fairs for New Haven casino
The proposed New Haven Casino and Resort aims to bring nearly 5,200 jobs to the area and is inviting local contractors to vendor fairs on Nov. 13 and Nov. 19. Hosted by Full House Resorts, the fairs will seek construction and operations vendors to help bring this 90-acre project to life. Read More Here
🎄Fantasy of Lights launches app
Blue Jacket has teamed up with Reusser to launch an app for the Fantasy of Lights event, enhancing the visitor experience with ticket purchasing, family sharing, wait-time updates, and an interactive map. Fort Wayne McDonald’s locations will soon offer Krispy Kreme doughnuts! Starting Tuesday, enjoy daily deliveries of Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled doughnuts, available all day in single, half-dozen, or dozen options while supplies last. 👮♂️Jury deliberations in Delphi double murder trial will resume Monday after 5-hour Saturday session
A jury is deliberating the fate of Richard Allen, charged with the 2017 murders of Indiana teens Abigail Williams and Liberty German. Prosecutors highlight Allen's confessions and evidence linking him to the crime, while his defense argues he was mentally unwell and denies his involvement. Read More Here
🏦Allen County jail bonds go on sale next week
Allen County Commissioners approved the sale of $200 million in revenue bonds to fund the new Allen County Jail. The $316 million project will be financed by the bonds, county cash, and additional funds. Construction is set to finish in Fall 2027, following federal mandates for improved jail conditions. 🌵🌵Severe drought continues for the area
Northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio are enduring a severe drought, the worst since 2012. Fort Wayne has received only 0.47 inches of rain this month, well below average. After a dry October, the area is on pace for its driest fall ever. Rain is expected this weekend. Read Full Story Here
🐩FWACC warns of recent scam targeting people with lost pets
Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control warns of a scam targeting pet owners. Scammers claim to be from FWACC, asking for money for emergency surgery on lost pets. FWACC confirms they never request payments over the phone. Be cautious when sharing information about missing animals online.Read More Here
🛞🛞Michelin Considering $100 Million Investment at Fort Wayne BFGoodrich Tire Plant
Michelin North America's BFGoodrich brand is considering a $100 million investment in its Woodburn, Ind., plant to upgrade equipment, production, and quality verification. The plan, which may not create new jobs, is still under review and could support global growth for BFGoodrich. Full Story Here
👀Racist text messages referencing slavery raise alarms in multiple states and prompt investigations
Racist, threatening text messages invoking slavery were sent to Black individuals across multiple states, including middle schoolers and college students. The FBI and other agencies are investigating, with civil rights organizations condemning the messages as deeply disturbing and harmful.Read More Here
🏞️New entrance to Franke Park officially opens after years of planning
Franke Park in Fort Wayne has officially opened a new entrance from Goshen Road, featuring a tree-lined path, a bridge over Spy Run Creek, and enhanced trails. The upgrades are part of the park’s Renaissance Plan to improve access and experiences. Full Story Here

Indiana swung further right in the 2024 election, erasing 2020 Democratic gains. While the Indianapolis suburbs shifted left, most counties, including Elkhart and Tippecanoe, saw a significant Republican surge. The Fort Wayne Komets had an impressive weekend on the ice! On Friday, they dominated the Toledo Walleye with a 5-1 victory, showcasing their power and precision. The action continued on Saturday with a thrilling 4-3 win over the Kalamazoo Wings. A great couple of days for the Komets, who continue to prove they’re a force to be reckoned with! Komets now sit at 7-1 for the season.

Mastodons fall in tight battle against UCF
The Mastodon men’s basketball team fell 75-68 to UCF on Nov. 8. Despite leading by two with under six minutes left, Purdue Fort Wayne couldn’t hold off UCF’s late rally. Eric Mulder’s nine points and Deangelo Elisee’s three highlighted the first half. Read Full Story
