🌮 A new Taco Bell is being built at 405 W. Jefferson Blvd., about 150 feet from the current location at 340 W. Jefferson Blvd. The move is part of a plan by the Allen County-Fort Wayne Capital Improvement Board to secure short-term leases on nearby properties, giving flexibility for future development such as a possible Grand Wayne Center expansion or new hotels. The CIB paid to build the new Taco Bell and will lease the land from the Redevelopment Commission, earning about $200,000 per year in rent. The move could start as early as next week and finish by mid-December. Read more from WANE 15 here.
