🔥A fire broke out early Tuesday morning in a home on the 3000 block of Reed Street in southeast Fort Wayne. Fire crews responded around 1:30 a.m. and found a person inside. First responders attempted to save the individual, but they died. Firefighters remained on scene for several hours to fully extinguish the fire, which officials say was accidental. 🚨Indiana State Police, along with Fort Wayne Police, Allen County Sheriff’s Department, and New Haven Police, acted on rumors of a large car rally and potential street racing last Friday night. Using a helicopter to monitor gatherings, officers dispersed crowds, issued 32 tickets, gave 59 warnings, and made several arrests. A stolen car pursuit also ended safely. 🏀 Shabaz Khaliq returns as head coach of the North Side Legends boys basketball team for the 2025-26 season, marking his second stint after coaching from 2010-18.
