🚨Jury Reaches Verdict in Delphi Murders
Richard Allen, 52, was found guilty of murdering teens Abigail Williams and Liberty German in Delphi, Indiana, in 2017. Convicted on two counts of murder, Allen faces up to 130 years in prison. Prosecutors presented damning evidence, including confessions and a matching bullet. Sentencing is set for December 20. Read More Here
🗑️Garbage and/or recycling collection days changing for some residents
Starting December 2, 2024, Fort Wayne's GFL Solid Waste Department will adjust garbage and recycling collection days for 25% of residents. The new routes boost efficiency, safety, and sustainability by incorporating automated trucks and reducing road wear. 🧸"Unforeseen circumstances" stops Fort Wayne Toys for Tots' 2024 operations
Fort Wayne Toys for Tots has canceled its 2024 season due to unforeseen circumstances, leaving Allen County and seven other northeast Indiana counties without the program. 🏨New Marriott Courtyard planned on West Jefferson Boulevard
JSK Hospitality plans a $60M development on West Jefferson Boulevard, featuring a 104-room Marriott Courtyard hotel and 30-40 modern condos with retail and dining. 🎒Former ENSC athletic director arrested after stealing $11k in mileage reimbursements
Nicholas David, former athletic director of East Noble School Corporation, was arrested for forging nearly $11,000 in mileage reimbursements. 🚓Woman who admitted to neglecting kids, leaving them bruised, avoids federal prison
Elicia Hurmon, convicted of felony neglect after abusing three children under her care, was sentenced to five years, with four years suspended. She'll serve one year in Allen County Community Corrections. The children suffered severe bruising, and a 4-month-old was underweight. Read More Here

The Komets have had a wild week! It started rough with back-to-back losses—first a 3-1 defeat to Wheeling on the 12th, then a tough 4-1 loss to Kalamazoo on the 15th. But they came back swinging! On the 16th, they got their revenge on Kalamazoo, pulling off a 5-3 win. Then, last night, they absolutely dominated Cincinnati with a massive 6-1 blowout.

Carroll celebrates cheer, volleyball state titles
Carroll High School celebrated a historic weekend as both the girls volleyball and cheer teams won state titles. The cheer squad claimed its fourth consecutive Varsity A title, while the volleyball team earned its first-ever state championship with a 3-0 sweep of Yorktown.
