Mayor Tucker Opens Applications For Youth Engagement Council
• Applications for the 2026 to 2027 Mayor’s Youth Engagement Council are open through July 7.
• Interviews for applicants are scheduled for July 21, July 22, July 28, and July 29.
• Students must live in Fort Wayne and be entering grades 10 through 12 for the upcoming school year to apply.

Citilink Brings Back Summer Youth Pass Program
• Citilink will offer unlimited rides for children ages 5 to 18 from May 22 through August 10.
• Riders can purchase either a $25 digital pass or a $30 reloadable smart card.

City Council To Vote On Firefighters Contract After Arbitration Ends Sick Leave Dispute
• An arbitrator ruled that paid sick leave language for off-duty injuries will remain unchanged in the Fort Wayne firefighters’ contract.
• The city had proposed limiting full pay and benefits to nine months, but firefighters would continue receiving up to 12 months under the ruling.
• The Fort Wayne City Council will now vote on the final collective bargaining agreement.
