🏫 Central Noble Schools in Noble County is proposing a property tax increase of $187.72 per household to counter a $2.4 million state funding loss. Tuesday’s special election will determine if cuts to staff, transportation, and programs can be reduced. Read more from WANE 15 here.

💸 Allen County residents must pay spring property taxes by May 12 to avoid penalties. Payments can be made by mail, online, by phone, or dropped off. If you've lost your bill, you can print a new one online. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🚛 A semi rolled over on the I-69 exit ramp to U.S. 24 in the Coventry area Tuesday, prompting a temporary closure. The crash caused minor injuries and slowed traffic for hours while crews cleaned up. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🧠 Super Bowl Champion and Carroll High School alum Drue Tranquill joined RemedyLIVE’s tenth annual “Texteractive” event at the Clyde Theatre, advocating for mental health awareness. The night included a game show, dinner, and personal stories of healing. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🎓 Miranda Bearman, a Carroll High School graduate, has spent nine months teaching English in Takaoka, Japan—Fort Wayne’s sister city since 1976. She works with elementary and junior high students and shares U.S. culture. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🖼️ Engage Fort Wayne is asking residents to vote on logos for the South Calhoun and East State Boulevard areas as part of a revitalization effort. The new branding, created by AMP Lab and Fort Wayne Marketing, aims to update these historic areas. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🚧 A driver experienced a medical emergency while turning onto Wallen Road, causing their car to strike a construction worker at N. Clinton Street. The worker sustained minor injuries, and the car was found just north of the scene. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🚛 Victor Santos, a New York truck driver, was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to OWI and recklessness in a Warsaw crash that injured 16 student hockey players. Victims expressed disappointment in his apology. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🚲 The Allen County Coroner’s Office identified Luis Antonio Figueroa, 37, as the bicyclist killed in a hit-and-run on Saturday. He was found near Lafayette and Williams streets and later died at the hospital. Police continue to investigate. Read more from WANE 15 here.
