Despite increasing electricity costs and demand for clean energy, 72 of Indiana’s 92 counties have restricted solar and wind installations. Local resistance stems from farmland preservation and property value concerns, while advocates push for diversification and energy independence. White County is a model for balanced development, but misinformation and politics continue to challenge progress statewide. Read more from Indiana Capital Chronicle via WFFT here.
