NIPSCO Ends Month-Long Lockout After Reaching Agreement With Union
• Northern Indiana Public Service Company reached a deal with the United Steelworkers union, ending a lockout that began on April 2.
• More than 1,600 employees were affected, and clerical workers are scheduled to return to work next Tuesday.
• The company said service was not interrupted during negotiations and no OSHA safety incidents were reported.

Shop Two Sixty Bakery To Close This Weekend
• Shop Two Sixty, a bakery and custom catering business in Fort Wayne, announced it will close after its final weekend of service.

• The motorcyclist killed in Thursday’s crash has been identified as 69-year-old James David North of Fort Wayne.
• The crash happened on Illinois Road and involved a semitruck that caught fire after the collision.
• Police say the semi likely pulled out in front of the motorcycle, and no alcohol is believed to have been involved.
