The night turns unsettled with additional showers and thunderstorms possible, cooling to a mild 67°F under humid conditions.

Statewide Protests Target ICE Detention At Miami Correctional Facility
• Protests were held in Fort Wayne and other Indiana cities opposing ICE detention practices at the Miami Correctional Facility
• Organizers from Indivisible Indiana and Fuerza Unida said the facility dehumanizes immigrants and called for more humane treatment
• A total of 28 protests took place across Indiana, focusing on immigration detention concerns and conditions at the facility

Lane Closure To Affect Short Stretch Of Illinois Road For 2 Days
• A westbound lane of Illinois Road in Fort Wayne will be closed Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• The closure will affect the stretch between Avenue of Autos and Getz Road as part of a road improvement project
• Officials say both lanes will reopen each evening and the overall project is expected to be completed by fall 2027

W Jefferson Blvd. Construction Project Ends Two Weeks Ahead Of Schedule
• Fort Wayne City Utilities completed a water main installation project on West Jefferson Boulevard ahead of schedule
