I-469 Pavement Replacement Begins This Week
• Work starts March 9 on I-469 between Wheelock Road and U.S. 24 affecting southbound and northbound lanes.
• Lane shifts and width restrictions will be in place, and the westbound U.S. 24 on-ramp to northbound I-469 closes around March 16 for about a month.
• The southbound I-469 off-ramp to S.R. 37/Maysville Road will close one to two months after work starts and reopen two to three months later.

Proposed Quarry Near IU Health Campus Raises Local Concerns
• Heritage Group plans a quarry, industrial, and commercial development on about 824 acres south of U.S. 24 near IU Health.

Early Morning Fire on Edgewater Avenue
• Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire on the 1000 block of Edgewater Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday.
• The house was under renovation and empty, allowing firefighters to contain the blaze within 30 minutes without injuries.
• The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.

Ford Recalls Nearly 1.74 Million Vehicles Over Rearview Camera Problems
• Ford recalled about 849,310 Bronco and Edge vehicles because an infotainment component may overheat and prevent the rearview image from appearing.
• Another recall affects about 889,950 Escape, Corsair, Aviator and Explorer vehicles that may display a flipped or inverted rearview camera image.
• The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the defects could increase crash risk, though Ford reports no related injuries or accidents.

Millions of vehicles are affected by safety issues that may require software updates or future repairs to restore proper rearview camera function.
