Ramp Closure Coming To I 469 In Southern Allen County
• The eastbound I 469 off ramp to Bluffton Road will close starting April 6 for bridge construction over Harbor Ditch
• The Indiana Department of Transportation expects the closure to last through the end of May
• Drivers are advised to continue to Exit 9 at Winchester Road and reenter westbound I 469 to reach Bluffton Road

FWPD Increasing Patrols To Reduce Speeding And Distracted Driving
• Officers began overtime patrols Saturday as part of the Comprehensive Highway Injury Reduction Program in partnership with the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute
• Enforcement focuses on speeding and violations of Indiana’s Hands-Free Law with officers issuing citations to drivers who break these rules
• Patrols will continue through April 13 as officials respond to data showing 249 speeding-related deaths and 47 distracted driving deaths in Indiana in 2023

Driver Hospitalized After Pickup Crashes 3 Separate Times On Lafayette
• A pickup driver struck a fence and trees, rear-ended another vehicle, then crashed into a tree in three separate incidents along Lafayette Street.
• Witnesses reported the truck was driving erratically and unable to stay straight on the road.
• The driver was found unresponsive and hospitalized, though not with life-threatening injuries, as police investigate possible causes.

Ivy Tech Fort Wayne Hosted 17th Annual Edible Book Festival
• The public attended the event March 30 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. featuring 19 food creations inspired by books
• Entries came from Ivy Tech Hospitality students, local businesses, and food artists with awards for design, taste, and creativity

Fort Wayne Record Show Kicks Off Its First Event Of 2026 On A High Note
• The event featured more than 50,000 records, CDs, DVDs, and memorabilia across 65 vendor tables

Police Search For Two Missing Boys In Southeast Fort Wayne
• Saharodin Tun, 12, and Norodin Tun, 10, were last seen near Chartwell Drive and Anthony Boulevard on Monday
• Saharodin is 5-foot-2, 110 pounds, wearing a blue shirt and black joggers, while Norodin is 4-foot, 120 pounds, wearing a red shirt and gray pants
