Fort Wayne Biosolids Facility Offers Extended Hours for Wind Damage Cleanup
• The facility remained open on Saturdays through the end of March for residents to drop off tree branches and limbs.
• Drop-offs were available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a minimum charge of $1 per 100 pounds or $20 per ton.
• Normal weekday operations continued to resume on Mondays each week.

Historic Old Fort Restoration Nears Completion in Fort Wayne
• The project is in its fourth and fifth phases, focusing on the Junior Officers’ Quarters and Enlisted Barracks.
• Restoration began about two years ago, starting with the Spy Run Block House and continuing with the Doctor’s Quarters, Hospital, and Commander’s Building.
• The goal is to repair or replace all buildings by 2026, the 50th anniversary of the previous Old Fort.

SACS Holds Special Meeting on Proposed Quarry in Little River Floodplain
• The Southwest Allen County Schools Board met Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the SACS Transportation Center to discuss the quarry proposal.

Two Injured in Southwest Fort Wayne Crash Near Airport
• A SUV and a sedan collided Friday around 5 p.m. at Airport Expressway and Bluffton Road.
• The SUV’s driver was in good condition, and the passenger was in life-threatening condition.
• The car driver reported no injuries, and the crash is still under investigation.
