Suspected Human Remains Found in Fort Wayne Creek
• A fisherman discovered a human skull and other skeletal remains on a beaver dam in Spy Run Creek on Saturday.
• The Allen County Coroner’s Office is investigating the discovery with FWPD and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
• Police vehicles were seen surrounding the creek near Costco on Value Drive and Progress Road during the investigation.

Ivy Tech Fort Wayne Offers Full-Ride Scholarships to 2026 Seniors
• Three full-ride scholarships covering tuition, books, and fees are available for students pursuing their first associate degree.
• Applicants must submit a one-page essay, high school transcript, and reference letter, and maintain a 3.0 GPA.
• The deadline to apply is April 15, and winners must enroll in at least 12 credit hours each semester.
• Students can email their essay, transcript and reference letter to [email protected] or call 260-480-2010 for more information.

2045 Transportation Plan Amendments Open for Public Comment
• Public comment is open from March 16 to April 2 on proposed amendments to the 2045 Transportation Plan.
• The amendments include widening Mayhew Road and St. Joe Road from two lanes to four or five lanes, adding pedestrian walkways, and improving intersections.

Early Morning Attic Fire on Lima Road Quickly Extinguished
• FWFD responded to a fire at Tredway Pools on the 8300 block of Lima Road just after 6 a.m. Monday.
• The fire originated in the attic and was quickly brought under control by crews.
• No one was inside the building at the time of the fire.

Salvation Army to Close Southgate Plaza Thrift Store in Fort Wayne
• The Southgate Plaza location in southeast Fort Wayne will permanently close on March 26.
• The organization has announced plans to open a new Fort Wayne location but has not provided details.
• No other operational changes at Salvation Army stores in the area were specified.

The Bob & Tom Show Returns to Fort Wayne Radio
• The show began airing Monday on FM station 96.3XKE from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• It originally started in Indianapolis in the mid-1980s and went national in 1995.
