A few thunderstorms are possible as temperatures climb to around 88°F with steady SSE winds. The evening stays mostly cloudy, with occasional showers and a chance of thunder developing overnight as temperatures fall to around 67°F.

Pet Funeral Home Opens Memorial Garden To Honor Beloved Pets
• Nature’s Way Pet Aftercare and Funeral Home unveiled its Celebration of Life Memorial Garden during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday.
• The garden was created to give families a peaceful place to remember pets that have passed away.
• The public can visit the garden at 6428 St. Joe Center Road, where features include a rainbow bridge, water elements, plants, and flowers.

Fort Wayne Kicks Off GermanFest With Pre Festival Events
• GermanFest pre festival events began Sunday with Schnitzelfest at Fort Wayne Turners and continue through Wednesday evening.
• The main festival opens Thursday at Headwaters Park with German food, beer, music, entertainment, games, and cultural activities.
• Admission is free from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, free all day Sunday, and free for children under 13 and active or veteran military members.

Three Arrested In Fort Wayne And New Haven Drug Trafficking Investigation
• Authorities arrested three men accused of participating in a drug trafficking organization distributing fentanyl and cocaine in northeast Indiana.
• Investigators seized more than six pounds of suspected fentanyl and cocaine during the arrests following multiple controlled narcotics purchases.
• A search of a New Haven home uncovered three rifles and a handgun, and all three suspects are being held in the Allen County Jail.

One Plaintiff Dismisses Lawsuit Against Bishop Luers
• One of the nine former students suing Bishop Luers High School and other defendants has filed to dismiss her case with prejudice.
• The lawsuit alleges school leaders failed to protect students and properly respond after male classmates allegedly created and sold manipulated pornographic images using the girls' names and faces.
• Court records show each side will cover its own costs, while the remaining eight plaintiffs are scheduled for a status conference on June 29.

• The City of Fort Wayne launched the Fort Wayne Music Office in partnership with local venues, organizations, and music industry leaders.

Pizza Hut Classics Bring 1990s Nostalgia Back To Northeast Indiana
• Two Fort Wayne Pizza Hut locations on East State Boulevard and Coventry Lane have been remodeled into "Pizza Hut Classic" restaurants.
• The East State Boulevard location, which opened in 1972, still features the city's original Pizza Pete cutout.
• The redesigns aim to recreate the dine in family experience many customers remember from the 1990s, with additional remodeled locations in Warsaw and Portland.

Fort Wayne Zoo Welcomes Five Bat-Eared Fox Kits
• The Fort Wayne Zoo announced that bat-eared fox Ripley recently gave birth to five kits in the African Journey exhibit.
• Ripley and the father, Mkhuseli, are first-time parents and were paired through a species survival plan recommendation.
• Zoo visitors may not always see the kits because they are still acclimating to their habitat and bat-eared foxes are primarily nocturnal.

Fort Wayne Man Arrested In Child Exploitation Investigation
• A joint investigation involving the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, federal authorities, and Fort Wayne police led to the arrest of a 56-year-old Fort Wayne man.
• Detectives identified the suspect after being contacted by investigators from the Lebanon Police Department on May 5.
• Police executed a search warrant at the suspect's southwest Fort Wayne home and seized evidence, while preliminary charges include child exploitation and vicarious sexual gratification.

Pedestrian Killed In Southeast Fort Wayne Crash, Speed And Alcohol Believed To Be Factors
• Police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at Hanna Street and East Sherwood Terrace around 2:20 a.m. Saturday.
• Officers found a man dead at the scene and later located the vehicle believed to be involved after witnesses reported it fled.
• Investigators said speed and alcohol are believed to have contributed to the crash and the case remains under investigation.

Traffic Restored After Two Motorcycle Crashes Near Downtown
• Two separate motorcycle crashes occurred near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and West Washington Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.
• The first crash happened just west of the intersection at 12:45 p.m. and the second occurred just east of it at 1:10 p.m.
• At least one motorcyclist was reported to be in serious condition and traffic delays in both directions have since cleared.

Car Rolls Into Ditch After Crash Northeast Of Fort Wayne
• Emergency crews responded shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday to a crash on Schwartz Road north of St. Joe Center Road in Allen County.
• A vehicle overturned into a ditch and police closed the roadway while responders worked at the scene.
• Authorities confirmed the crash occurred but had not reported whether anyone was injured.

Fort Wayne Roller Derby Celebrates 20 Years With Final Home Game
• Fort Wayne Roller Derby marked its 20th anniversary during its final home game of the season at the PSM Icehouse.

Severe Thunderstorms And Flash Flood Threat Impact Millions From Texas To The Northeast
• More than 50 million people were under a severe weather threat Saturday, with damaging wind gusts, large hail, and frequent lightning possible from the Midwest into the Northeast.
• Severe thunderstorm watches were issued across parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia as storms moved eastward through the evening.
• Flood watches were posted from north Texas to southwest Missouri, including Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Springfield, with flash flooding possible in areas of heavy rain.
