Light NNW winds keep conditions comfortable while very high UV levels make sun protection important during the afternoon. Farmers’ Market Returns At Salomon Farm
• The Farmers’ Market at Salomon Farm Park will reopen June 3 and run Wednesday evenings from 4 to 7 p.m. through September
• The market features local vendors offering produce, baked goods, crafts, and handmade items along with live music at select events
• The event is held inside the farm’s historic barn with free parking available and on-site farm animals for visitors to see

Water Main Break Closes West Coliseum Boulevard In Fort Wayne
• A city public safety alert says West Coliseum Boulevard was closed early Tuesday due to a water main break
• The closure affects the stretch between Investment Drive and Executive Boulevard and disrupted a major commuter route

Healthier Moms & Babies Kicks Off Annual Diaper Drive
• Healthier Moms & Babies has launched its annual diaper drive to help families facing diaper insecurity across the region
• Organizers say about half of families experience diaper needs and diapers can cost around $100 per child per month

Man Handed Less Than A Year For Role In Shooting That Left A 17-Year-Old In Critical Condition

• Court documents say the victim and his father were chased through the south side of the city before shots were fired near Oliver Street, striking the teen near the skull

• Fort Wayne Police are investigating a shooting around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Hale Avenue where a 15-year-old boy was found in critical condition
• A separate shooting at Lafayette and Buchanan left a 15-year-old girl with non-life-threatening injuries
• Police have not identified suspects in the Hale Avenue case, while a juvenile suspect was taken into custody in the second shooting

Six People Hurt After Semi Crashes Into Laundromat On West Jefferson
• A semi-truck crashed into a laundromat near Swinney Park on West Jefferson after crossing lanes and entering the parking lot just before 1 p.m. Tuesday
• Five people inside the laundromat were injured, while one woman in a nearby pickup truck was not hurt
• The semi driver was briefly trapped in the cab and Indiana State Police are assisting Fort Wayne Police with the investigation

US To Drastically Cut Visa-Processing Embassies Across Africa
• The State Department plans to reduce about 50 U.S. embassies and consulates in Africa that process visas to 20 hubs in the coming weeks.
• Officials said the change is part of the Trump administration’s broader effort to limit immigration and tighten visa issuance rules.
• Applicants in non-hub countries will need to travel to designated embassies, while local posts will still handle limited consular services.
