Fort Wayne Ranks #1
Fort Wayne's housing market has been named the top in the country by Realtor.com. Evaluated among 200 metro areas, Fort Wayne stood out for its affordability, with many homes under $200,000 and a median home price of $335,000.
Grand opening for Cross Border Partners.
Cross Border Partners Thrift Store celebrated its grand opening at 929 North Coliseum Boulevard. After a challenging year, the non-profit's new location offers more space and accessibility. Volunteers, some in their 90s, are thrilled. "It means everything," says volunteer Bill Graney. The new warehouse boosts their mission to help families in need.
Inspire Neighborhood Conference Coming Soon:
Registration is open for the free 2024 Inspire Neighborhood Conference on September 13 at Electric Works, 1690 Broadway. Hosted by Fort Wayne's Neighborhood Planning and Activation Workgroup, it features Janell M. Lane discussing "Mental Health: Energizing You While Energizing Others." The event includes breakout sessions, lunch, and an awards dinner. Click here for more.
Cinnabon is coming to Fort Wayne mall.
Cinnabon is coming to Fort Wayne's Glenbrook Square Mall! GoTo Foods announced the iconic bakery will open in late 2024 or early 2025. While you wait, satisfy your cravings at the Cinnabon locations inside the Flying J in New Haven or the Pilot Travel Center in Marion. Stay tuned for updates!
Semi driver killed in hit-and-run on I-69.
Brad Anthony Nacio, 48, of Indianapolis, was killed in a hit-and-run on I-69 in Fort Wayne early Thursday morning. The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on a red or maroon Volvo semitruck with front passenger side damage and a missing side mirror. Contact the Allen County Sheriffs Dept. at 260-449-3000 with any information.

Dragon Boat Races
Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation will host the 8th annual Dragon Boat Races next weekend at Promenade Park. The event kicks off with an opening ceremony on Aug. 2, followed by races on Aug. 3.

Jordan Jensen comes to the Summit City Comedy Club.
Jordan Jensen, a comedian who began her career in upstate NY, won “NY’s Funniest Stand Up” in 2021, the first female to do so. Now in Brooklyn, she’s featured on SiriusXM, Just For Laughs, and is a regular at the Comedy Cellar. Her comedy showcases her bizarre upbringing and candid confessions. Click here for tickets
