Fort Wayne Program Adds Sessions To Boost Workforce Skills
• LSSI is offering four new sessions of LSSI Works to help individuals build professional skills and financial stability.
• Sessions begin Feb. 2, March 2, March 30, and May 4, with registration open and limited spots available.
• In 2025, 93% of participants improved employability and job readiness skills through the program.

Steel Dynamics Reports Mixed 2025 Financial Results
• The company earned $266 million in Q4 2025, up from $207 million the previous year, but down from $404 million in Q3.

Snow Cleanup Keeps Fort Wayne Busy After Major Snowfall
• City plow crews worked throughout the Summit City while residents shoveled out cars and sidewalks after the storm.
• Postal workers and snow removal contractors continued working, saying preparation and heavy snowfall made conditions manageable and profitable.

Old Downtown Fort Wayne Taco Bell Site Eyed For Parking Or New Restaurant
• The Capital Improvement Board bought out Taco Bell’s lease and relocated the restaurant to free up the 1.6-acre downtown property.
• Officials said the site could become additional parking for nearby businesses or house another restaurant using existing kitchen equipment.
• Any future use is expected to be short-term, with the land likely reserved for a future Grand Wayne Convention Center expansion.
