Verizon Finalizes Frontier Acquisition in Fort Wayne
• Frontier is now officially called "Frontier, a Verizon Company" and service will not change.
• Frontier fiber customers can get four mobile lines for $20 each or one line for $40 with a new iPhone 17 included.
• Verizon mobile customers or new customers can combine mobile and home plans for six months of free fiber internet.

Neighborhood Health Opens Pharmacy At Oxford Clinic
• Neighborhood Health has opened a pharmacy at its Oxford clinic located at 3501 Warsaw Street
• The pharmacy will serve both clinic patients and non-patients in the Fort Wayne community
• This follows the success of the organization’s first pharmacy, which opened on Calhoun Street in February 2024

• High flu activity and extreme winter weather are contributing to the shortage

Ivy Tech Fort Wayne Hosts 17th Annual Edible Book Festival
• The festival will take place Monday, March 31, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Coliseum Campus, Room 1640
• Participants 18 and older can showcase edible book creations, with ingredient lists required for allergy awareness
• Trophies will be awarded for Best Design, Funniest Design, and Best-Tasting, and the event is free to attend.

Brutal Cold and Accumulating Snow Expected Across Northeast Indiana
• Temperatures are dropping into the single digits with wind chills between -10 and -15 degrees through Saturday morning.
• A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from Friday at 4 a.m. until Saturday at 10 a.m. due to dangerous wind chills.
• A Winter Storm Watch is in effect Saturday night through Sunday with potential for several inches of snow, especially south of Fort Wayne.

Federal agents detain Minnesota preschooler and father during immigration enforcement surge
• Federal agents apprehended five-year-old Liam Ramos and his father at their home and transported them to a detention center in Texas.
• School officials allege agents used the child to draw out family members, while the family’s attorney says they have an active asylum case and entered legally.
• The Department of Homeland Security disputes that account, saying the arrest targeted the father and not the child.
