Fort Wayne To Buy Land Around Water Treatment Plant; Councilman Calls It An ‘Aesthetic Negative’
• Fort Wayne City Utilities plans to purchase a property at 614 Wagner St., the seventh property acquired near the Three Rivers Water Filtration Plant
• The acquisitions aim to prevent facilities from becoming landlocked and comply with evolving regulations
• Councilman Russ Jehl criticized the purchases, citing vacant lots as an eyesore and arguing the city should prioritize housing stock instead

Fort Wayne Company Donates Land For Poka-Bache Connector
• McIntosh Energy Company donated an $80,000 lot at 10317 Bluffton Road to support the Poka-Bache Connector trail
• The property will be developed into a parking lot for 10 to 20 vehicles to access the trail

• The address will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at the Grand Wayne Center and is free and open to the public

Snow Tubing And Ice-Skating Park Planned For Southwest Allen County
• American Resort Partners, LLC is seeking approval to build a winter activities park with a snow tubing slope and ice skating rink near the I-69 and I-469 interchange in Yoder
• The park would operate from November through March, feature a 200-space parking lot and warming lodge, and employ 30 full-time and two part-time staff
• The Allen County Board of Zoning Appeals will decide on the special use request during Wednesday’s meeting
