Snowy Weather Triggers Travel Advisory and Multiple Crashes
• A travel advisory was issued for Allen, DeKalb, and LaGrange counties shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
• Several crashes were reported in Fort Wayne and along southbound I-69 near Auburn, prompting a road shutdown.
• Emergency officials warned roads are becoming increasingly slick and urged drivers to slow down and use caution.

Google Agrees to Pay $200k for Stormwater Drainage Improvement
• City council members said Google agreed to cover nearly $200,000 for stormwater drainage improvements near its data center.
• The council voted 9 to 0 against the city funding the project after postponing the decision from December.
• Some project opponents said the payment does not outweigh the tax abatements already granted to Google.

Fort Wayne Police Add New Website to Gather Cold Case Tips
• The police department is using solvethecase.org to share information and receive tips from the public.
• The site allows users to search cold cases, missing persons, wanted individuals, and active homicide cases using multiple filters.
• Tips cannot be submitted anonymously on the site, but users can research cases and then submit anonymous tips through Crimestoppers or the P3 Tips app.

Fort Wayne City Council Updates Zoning Rules for Sober Living Homes
• The council approved an ordinance allowing sober living homes to operate in any residential zone.
• The new rules remove the previous 3,000-foot buffer requirement between treatment centers.
• Officials say the changes align local laws with federal fair housing standards and expand access to recovery resources.

ACPL Celebrates Dolly Parton’s 80th with Community Coloring Project

Fort Wayne Fire Department Promotes Two Firefighters to Lieutenant
• Kamron Bell and Nicholas Racioppi were promoted to lieutenant after joining the department on August 30, 2018.
• Bell serves as an advanced EMT, hazmat team member, and peer fitness trainer, while Racioppi is an advanced EMT and water rescue team member.
