A few isolated rain showers are possible, but most of the day stays mainly dry despite the breezy conditions. Tonight remains cloudy and chilly, with lows near 34°F and winds continuing, though not as strong as during the day.

• Braun will speak to the Indiana General Assembly in the House chamber.
• The address is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

ACPL, AARP to Offer Free Tax Assistance
• Free in-person tax help is available from Feb. 2 to April 15 at several Allen County Public Library locations.

Amani Family Services CEO Stepping Down
• Ewelina Connolly announced she is stepping down as CEO to pursue a role as an elected official.
• Amani Family Services is a Fort Wayne nonprofit that supports immigrant and refugee families in Allen County.
• The organization’s board says a leadership transition plan will be announced to ensure continuity of services.

ISP, CVSA Launch Human Trafficking Awareness Week
• Indiana State Police and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance are conducting outreach Jan. 12-16 for commercial drivers.
• The initiative distributes materials and performs inspections to raise awareness about human trafficking.
• CVSA’s program runs through March across North America, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Two men wanted after New Year’s Day robbery and shooting in Fort Wayne
• Police say Joshua Cekander and Tristeen Hunter are wanted on charges of robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.
• Investigators say the victim was shot after his gun was taken during a party at a Fort Wayne apartment early Jan. 1.
• Arrest warrants were issued Jan. 9, and neither suspect has been booked into the Allen County Jail.

• The FDA approved the first home test detecting gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomoniasis in women, including telehealth consultations.
• Two new oral drugs for gonorrhea were approved, providing alternatives to the standard injectable antibiotic.
• Home-based testing can deliver results in hours, though costs and insurance coverage may limit access for some users.
