Temperatures struggle to climb, topping out near 30°F while brisk NW winds add an extra bite to the air. By nighttime, clouds linger and it stays cold with lows dropping to around 18°F, so it’s a good evening to bundle up and stay cozy indoors.

• Northbound lane of Sherman Boulevard between High Street and Third Street will close starting Feb. 24.

• Firefighters responded to an automotive repair shop on St. Joe Center Road Saturday night, causing moderate fire and water damage.
• A house on Antebellum Boulevard caught fire early Sunday, resulting in heavy smoke damage and minor fire and water damage.
• One person was rescued from the house, one dog died, and another dog survived; both fires are under investigation.
