Plans For Downtown Fort Wayne Grocery Store Announced During State of the City Address
• Mayor Tucker announced plans for a downtown grocery store during his State of the City speech
• Surack Enterprises plans to open the store on Pearl Street next to The Pearl mixed-use development
• The grocery store is expected to open in the first quarter of 2027 pending necessary approvals

I-469 Reopens After Overnight Chain-Reaction Crash
• Multiple vehicles, including two semi-trucks, were involved in chain-reaction crashes on I-469 near Stellhorn Road early Wednesday morning
• Three drivers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and debris caused hazards in both northbound and southbound lanes
• The highway and Stellhorn Road reopened after several hours once crews cleared debris and INDOT inspected the overpass

Veterans Memorial Shrine and Museum to Reopen in April
• The Veterans Memorial Shrine and Museum plans to reopen in April after closing in late December
• The closure allowed for reorganization and installation of a new storage and tracking system
• Memorial grounds remained open during the closure while staff worked to return or redistribute items

FWPD Responding to Crash Involving FWCS Bus, Overturned Car
• A Fort Wayne Community Schools bus and a car collided on West Washington Boulevard near West Jefferson Boulevard
• The car overturned in the grassy median, and the driver sustained minor injuries

FAA Briefly Halts Flights over El Paso Amid Potential Military Drone Activity
• The FAA temporarily restricted all flights within a 10 nautical mile radius of El Paso Airport for special security reasons.
• A source said the halt was a preemptive step tied to potential military drone activity, though officials stressed there was no threat to commercial aviation.
• The restriction was lifted hours later, and the FAA said all flights have resumed as normal.
