Dora T. Boyd of Fort Wayne was sentenced to 50 months in prison for wire fraud after submitting 30 fake COVID relief applications, stealing $166,292. She must repay the funds. The FBI and city officials investigated the case. Read More Here
🛻Dodge rams into side of Carroll High School; NACS searching for suspect
Carroll High School seeks help after a white Dodge Ram crashed into the building near Door #1 Monday night before driving off. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Allen County Sheriff’s Non-Emergency Line at 260-449-3000. Full Article
🔒Urban Trail Extension Project closing lane on Harrison Street
Harrison Street’s northbound lane between Berry and Main will close Monday for the Urban Trail Extension Project. The project includes a new brick trail, sidewalk upgrades, landscaping, and lighting, with completion expected by October 2025. Use posted detours. Full Story

🚓Suspected Michigan Murderer taken into custody at Motel 6 by SWAT
Fort Wayne Police arrested 31-year-old Dominique Mack, wanted for murder in Michigan, following a standoff at Motel 6 on Saturday. Mack, located through a tip and associated vehicle, was taken into custody without incident and will be extradited to Michigan. Read More Here
🏢How Fort Wayne spent $50.8M of COVID-19 relief money

Ugly Sweater Run
Join the 10th annual Fleet Feet Ugly Sweater Run on December 19, 2024, for a festive three-mile fun run through downtown Fort Wayne, followed by an Ugly Sweater Contest at JK O'Donnell's. Admission is three non-perishable food items for donation.
Krusin’ Christmas
Celebrate the season at the 4th Annual Krusin' Christmas at Kruse Plaza, featuring a drive-through light show synchronized to Christmas music. Open Dec 1-31, with admission at $10 per car or $25 for a seasonal pass. Proceeds benefit the J. Kruse Education Center.
Santa & Reindeer Saturdays
Visit Santa at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory on Saturdays in December, leading up to Christmas. Enjoy the "Gnome for the Holidays" exhibit, outdoor reindeer appearances, and indoor holiday scenery. Regular admission applies. Santa takes a break from 2-2:30 p.m.
