Indiana 2026 Primary Election Early Voting Begins
• Voter registration for the Indiana primary election ended Monday, April 6 at 11:59 p.m. after allowing residents to register or update information online
• Early in person voting started Tuesday, April 7 with scheduled dates, times, and locations available across Allen County including the Rousseau Centre and Ivy Tech Coliseum Campus
• The primary election will take place May 5 with polls open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET and includes races for congressional seats, Indiana House seats, and local offices

$37M Planned For Fort Wayne Neighborhood Infrastructure Improvements In 2026
• City leaders announced plans for $37 million in projects including street replacements, sidewalk upgrades, and resurfacing in areas like Waynedale
• Additional work includes $1.15 million in concrete repairs, four bridge projects, and two new trail developments across the city
• Several projects from 2025 will continue, including trail work, neighborhood reconstruction, sidewalk construction, alley work, and arterial improvements

Union Street Market At Electric Works Partially Closed For Vendor Change

Traffic Delays Reported On I-469 After Multiple Crashes
• Two crashes occurred near mile-marker 23 North between North River Road and Stellhorn Road

Veterans Memorial Shrine Launches Fundraiser For Agent Orange Victims
• The museum is raising $60,000 to build a memorial honoring Vietnam Veterans affected by Agent Orange
• Exposure to the chemical has caused lifelong health issues for veterans and their families, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes
• Patrick Fraizer, a Vietnam vet and museum member, says hundreds of thousands of deaths are linked to Agent Orange exposure
