🦅 One National Story
Millions of Eye Drops Recalled Nationwide
• Over 3 million bottles of eye drops sold at CVS, Kroger, Meijer, Walgreens, HEB, and other stores have been voluntarily recalled due to “lack of assurance of sterility,” the FDA says.
• The recall covers products from KC Pharmaceuticals Inc. sold under multiple brand names, including Best Choice, CVS, Gericare, and Kroger.
• The FDA classified this as a Class II recall, meaning use may cause temporary or medically reversible health issues.
• Customers can return affected products to stores like CVS for a refund.
Why it matters here:
Local residents who purchased these products from area retailers should check the FDA list and return any affected bottles to prevent eye infections.
