๐Ÿฅ A pilot program in Fort Wayne Community Schools gave sixth graders the opportunity to explore careers in healthcare at the Parkview Mirro Center. Students engaged in activities across biomedical science, nursing, imaging, surgery, and sports medicine. Read more from WANE 15 here.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ A Hoosier Lottery Powerball Double Play ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Caseyโ€™s on W. Adams Street in Decatur. The ticket matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball in Saturdayโ€™s drawing. Read more from WANE 15 here.

๐Ÿš— A car was found slightly submerged in the St. Joe River near Johnny Appleseed Park early Monday morning. Crews pulled the vehicle out around 10 a.m. The owner and cause of the incident remain unknown. Read more from WANE 15 here.

๐ŸŒณ The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will host Welcome Weekend with free entry to all state parks on Sunday, May 4. Visitors can also enjoy 25% lodging and camping discounts through May 14. Read more from WANE 15 here.

๐Ÿก Mayor Sharon Tucker announced that 35 Fort Wayne neighborhoods have been awarded over $166,000 in grants to fund placemaking, transit improvements, landscaping, and neighborhood branding projects. Improvements aim to boost safety, beauty, and community pride. Read more from WOWO here.

๐Ÿš” Two men were arrested for exposing themselves to undercover officers at Swinney Park during a Fort Wayne Police Department crackdown on public indecency. Both face misdemeanor charges and were booked into the Allen County Jail. Read more from WANE 15 here.
