🦋 Redemption House hosted its third annual Butterfly Gala Tuesday at the Grand Wayne Convention Center. Graduates shared success stories as the event raised funds for the faith-based transitional housing program serving women as an alternative to incarceration. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🎩 Governor Mike Braun spoke at the 2025 Lincoln Day Dinner in Fort Wayne, addressing policies like property tax relief and lowering health care costs. It was his first visit since inauguration, with several state and local officials also attending. Read more from WFFT here.

🏘️ Fort Wayne City Council approved expanding the All in Allen Plan to include East Central and Northwest neighborhoods and rezoned parts of Waynedale. Plans aim to improve infrastructure, recreation, and health while keeping similar zones grouped. Read more from WANE 15 here.

🎖️ Honor Flight Northeast Indiana launched its 50th flight Wednesday, taking 84 veteransmostly from the Vietnam War—from Fort Wayne to Washington, D.C. for a one day visit to national memorials. A welcome home event followed at the airport. Read more from WANE 15 here.

House Bill 1007, aimed at increasing Indiana’s energy generation and supporting nuclear manufacturing, passed the legislature and is headed to Gov. Mike Braun. It includes incentives for large-load customers and cost protections for existing utility users. Read more from WFFT here.

💊 National Drug Take Back Day is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hoosiers can drop off unused medications at free, anonymous disposal sites statewide. Read more from WFFT here.

🚗 The 5th annual Enthusiast Tour brings over 20 rare and exotic cars Ferraris, Porsches, GTOs for a public showcase. The tour ends Friday in Auburn with a 150-car auction at Kruse Plaza. Read more from WFFT here.
