Over 100-Year-Old Water Main And Lead Pipes To Be Replaced
• City Utilities will begin replacing a 12-inch water main on South Anthony Boulevard starting Monday, April 13
• The existing main was installed in 1919, and nearby homes may also have lead service lines that will be upgraded
• Parking restrictions and lane closures will be in place during construction, which is expected to take about three months

IDEM Approves Expansion Of Backup Generators At Fort Wayne Google Data Center
• Indiana Department of Environmental Management approved increasing backup diesel generators at the Google data center from 34 to 179 units
• The $2 billion facility is located on Adams Center Road and is already partially operational, according to the report

• Police and medics responded to a crash at Stellhorn and Maplecrest Roads involving multiple vehicles
• Dispatch reported at least one person was pinned in a vehicle during the incident
• A reporter at the scene observed one vehicle flipped on its side and the driver taken to a hospital

Police Investigating Possible Shooting
• Police and medics responded to a home near Parkview Regional Medical Center in north Fort Wayne around 10:15 p.m. Sunday
• Dispatch confirmed officers are conducting a shooting investigation and conditions of those involved are not yet known
• A WANE 15 crew member was on scene gathering additional information and the investigation is ongoing

Neighbors Speak Out After Fatal Saturday Night Shooting
• Neighbors on Abbott Street said they heard about 15 gunshots just after 11 p.m. Saturday before police responded to the scene
• One resident said he saw a young girl on the ground and immediately called 911 as officers arrived within minutes
• Fort Wayne police say no arrests have been made and there are currently no confirmed suspects in the case
